Within the Azahar Programme seven spheres of activity have been defined, with the aim of providing an effective response to the major environmental problems facing the countries to the South and East of the Mediterranean basin, where Spain has great experience and high-level of know-how, enabling the setting-up of effective technology transfer processes towards those countries.
